The success rate of IVF depends on a number of factors including patient characteristics and treatment approaches. It is also important to understand that pregnancy rates are not the same as live birth rates. In Concept Fertility Centre, the Success rate for each IVF cycle started is approximately:

  • 30 to 35% for women under age 35
  • 25% for women ages 35 to 37
  • 20% for women ages 38 to 40
  • Conception or HCG Rate : 50%

How do you measure ICSI Success rate?
ICSI Success rate is measured as HCG Rate, Clinical Pregnancy Rate or Take Home Baby / Live Birth Rate following each individual Embryo Transfer in an ICSI cycle.

What is a HCG Rate?
HCG Rate is a positive B-HCG done at two weeks following Embryo Transfer in an ICSI Cycle.

What is an ICSI Clinical Pregnancy?
ICSI Clinical Pregnancy is a pregnancy confirmed by a blood test B-HCG and Ultrasound at around 6-8 weeks following Embryo Transfer in an ICSI cycle.

What is an ICSI Live Birth?
Sadly, not every ICSI Clinical Pregnancy will carry to a live birth. So we quote ICSI Live Births per Embryo Transfer to give you the most REALISTIC understanding of your chances of success following each individual Embryo Transfer.

Factors affecting ICSI Success rates
The most important factor determining ICSI Success rates is woman’s age. When comparing success rates of different clinics, check if the clinic is giving you comparing rates for women of same age. Some centres only quote Average or ‘Whole of Clinic’ rate as they only accept young women and also do not accept difficult and complicated cases.

At Concept Fertility Centre, we are proud of the Success Rates we are achieving for our patients. We accept women of all ages and more difficult & complicated cases. So our LIVE BIRTH RATES are a true testimony of our hard work.
